To celebrate Cheese Month and Jonathan Emerson, Whitestone Cheese's Head Cheesemaker and the recipient of this year's prestigious Champion Cheesemaker title, October's Box features FOUR selected Whitestone cheeses (rather than our usual three cheeses and crackers).
 
Monte Cristo (110g)
Complex, nutty, fruity. A sheep’s milk cheddar, Monte Cristo is pressed and matured for approximately six months, to produce a subtle nutty flavour that becomes stronger and more complex as it ages.
 
Lake Pukaki Blue Brie (250g)
 A centrepiece of your cheese platter, captivating your guests with its stunning visual appeal and exquiste flavour. Its creamy, decadent texture and subtle blue veining creating symphony.
 
Benmore Brie (125g)
When young it has a firm centre which slowly softens to melt at the cut edge when ripe. The young delicate flavour strengthens with ripening to a hint of mushroom, while the exterior mould may die back and mottle.
 
Ferry Road Halloumi (200g)
Fresh cow’s milk Halloumi style cheese. Brined with a firm texture that holds its body when cooked.
