MAHOE CHEESE, VERY OLD EDAM
You are in the presence of a cheese with a distinguished legacy. Very Old Edam by Kirikiri-based Mahoe Cheese was named 'Champion Cheese' at the NewZealand Cheese Awards in 2021, and before that, also in 2015, 2014 and 2013! It has a firm, crunchy texture with sweet and floral notes and a nutty aftertaste.
Mahoe's flagship cheese, its recipe has been perfected over many years and each cheese is matured for at least 10 months.
Mahoe Cheese is another family owned business with its craft handed down through generations. Head cheesemaker Jacob Rosevear was awarded NZCheese School Champion Cheesemaker of the Year when he was just 33.
CLEVEDON BUFFALO, MARINATED BUFFALO CHEESE
Clevedon Buffalo’s Marinated Buffalo Cheese is a form of heavenly melt-in-your-mouth freshness, soaked in garlic & thyme.
This delectable combination of flavours makes the incredible fresh cheese perfect for use in salads, pasta or vegetables. It's also a stunning spread on bruschetta or crackers.
Use the marinade to double as a tasty dressing, whizzed together with herbs, lemon, honey, mustard, sea salt and a dash more olive oil.

OVER THE MOON DAIRY, CAMEMBERT
A Normandy-style camembert made from high quality South Waikato cow’s milk, Over the Moon Dairy's camembert is made with a
gentler and more ancient process than other modern camemberts.
In true French style, it has a slightly earthy aroma and taste and the mushroomy flavours become stronger over time. Its texture is voluptuous and creamy, and it has a lively yellowish interior and often with a faint white core which disappears at full maturity.
Let it sit at room temperature for up to an hour before you eat this camembert -it's one to savour.
KAIKOURA CHEESE, CANDY GODDESS
Here's another one to be savoured and devoured by gifted cheesemaker Daniel Jenkins, whose beloved Kaikoura cheese factory sadly didn't weather the double threat of earthquake and pandemic.

This one, the semi-hard goats cheese 'Candy Goddess', is truly unique. It’s been matured and washed in a sauvignon blanc syrup, giving the cheese a complex candy profile and fruity, tropical flavours. Enjoy it while it lasts!
